The quality of our service delivery and the positive health outcomes for our patients are dependent on the people who work for and with us. Our staff are recruited from the communities in which they work, enabling them to understand local issues and communicate effectively with those whose health and wellbeing they are working to improve. We believe in training and supporting our staff, interns and volunteers to be the best they can be. Frequently, the people we have supported become ‘community assets’ alongside our staff, helping others to make crucial changes to their behaviour and choices so that they can enjoy life to the full.
