Shape the future of Health and Wellbeing in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
We are looking to recruit someone with an accounting or finance background to a voluntary position on our Board of Trustees to provide oversight and advice to the board and finance team.
As a Trustee, you will bring your financial knowledge and experience to help guide the financial decision-making of our charity, Health Exchange and trading subsidiary Living Well Taking Control. Working closely with the other members of our Board to safeguard Health Exchange and Living Well Taking Control finances and future.
We are looking for people who can demonstrate a strong commitment to Health Exchange’s mission of educating, motivating, and helping people make changes which enable them to live healthier lives.
We’re always open to being approached by people who might add value to our already vibrant and effective Board. It’s not necessary to have previous Board experience as support will be available to develop in the role; we exist to help people make changes which enable them to learn, and that means Trustees too!
Senior management and Board level experience is an advantage but not essential. Health Exchange has an active Board development ethos and would welcome applicants without prior Board experience, with a view to gaining those skills as part of career development.
