Interventions Services Manager, Jennifer Jones-Rigby, was excited to the Industry and Parliament Trusts policy breakfast last meet, and got to meet Diane Abbot MP.
The meet, discussing the relationship between public health and the built environment, was an excellent opportunity for Health Exchange to learn more about key decision makers view on the progression of health prevention services in the future and to help shape the journey.
Jennifer said: I was able to make some key points about how we need government policy to reflect that communities need to stop being seen as having deficits but be seen as having assets that can be used for their own and the greater positive health good.
We look forward to attending more of these meetings and seeing those faces again.
