Case Study

‘The Health Exchange mobile unit proved to be an extremely effective resource as part of our promotional work for mouth cancer awareness month. The online capabilities on the mobile unit allowed us to obtain and print out up to date information for all the people who came in for an oral check. It also ensured that we had access to a range of other health information resources such as smoking cessation and alcohol awareness, which all linked in to our subject area. The private rooms on the bus also provided a place for confidential consultations to take place and ensured that anyone who wanted an oral check had the option of more privacy.’ – Jon Hobday, Oral Health Programme Manager
